Start your New Year’s resolutions with this fun and engaging workout! This workshop is geared to make you move, sweat, and drill the basics of belly dance. We’ll start with a conditioning warm-up, then on to cardio based belly dance combinations, shimmies, and isolations to hone in on muscle engagement. A satisfying yoga cool down waits for you at the end of this workout! This class is appropriate for all levels. It moves fast and is low impact. Please bring a yoga mat for the warm up and cool down. Cost is $20 in advance or $25 at the door. No refunds.

$25 Paid in AdvanceAre you looking to bring your belly dancing to a new level? Already know a lot of moves, but are looking for ways to seamlessly bring them together? Have you made a lot of dances, but are still hungry for dynamic transitions? Look no further. In this workshop we’ll explore a variety of different transitions between isolations, phrases, vocabulary, and ways to link traveling steps and movements that naturally belong together. You’ll first learn a series of combinations and different methods of stringing them together, then we’ll branch out into using transitions in improvisation, and making your own phrases. Some group work will be incorporated into the workshop. Students must pre-register. Cost is $25. No refunds. Some belly dance experience is recommended.
